Welsh Border Fan

Wheat Weaving: Welsh Border Fan and a Mortiford Heart, if there is time.

Market Twill
Instructor:Debbie Johnson

This is a solid woven base, sides are a 2/1 twill creating spirals up the sides, topped with an oak handle. Stakes are dyed to show off the twill pattern. If you would like your basket all natural, please indicate "natural only" on your registration form. Dimensions 7" x 10".

Bandana Basket

This is a great basket for rolls or for use as a catch-all. It weaves up fast and you will have a choice of color and napkin/bandana.

Country Kitchen Basket

This basket is great for holding magazines or adding color to any room in the house. The base measures 8" x 11", sides 9" high with leather handles.

Birdhouse

Made of flat reed, a real cutie that weaves up quick. Sometimes baskets are just for fun!

Cathead

A cathead that even a beginner can do. With optional saw tooth rim and dyed or natural reed for the weavers.

Bicycle Basket
Instructor:Kathleen Erickson

A basket for the bicycle handlebars. It is light weight – attaches with large cable ties. Base is 5" x 10" x 7" high. It is accented with natural and smoked round reed woven in a triple twine.

Finish It/Fix It Class

For a small fee, you can bring that basket that is just sitting unfinished and get some help. If you are missing some reed or another part, write that on your registration to see if Margaret can help you out.

We are working on a Tenth Anniversary Basket and more information will be sent to you as soon as it is available. Tentatively, the cost will be $25.00
If you would like to teach a class at basket guild, just contact our Program Committee or fill out the proposal sheet that can be found here. It’s a fun way to meet people and share your basket making skills.
